    Day 1 : Guwahati- Shillong

    Arrive in Guwahati by air or train and receive a warm welcome at the airport or railway station. You'll then be transferred to the enchanting city of Shillong, a scenic 3-hour drive. Along the way, indulge in speed boating at Umiam Lake (Bara Pani).

    Optional: If interested in visiting Kamakhya Temple, we recommend Roop Darshan with VIP tickets available at INR 501 per person counter opens at 0600 hrs. for Morning Darshan and at 1200 hrs. for afternoon Darshan for an exclusive experience. Otherwise, guests can join the general queue, but please note this may involve a longer wait.

    Shillong, often called the "Scotland of the East," boasts natural beauty with waterfalls, brooks, and pine grooves. Explore the city's charm with visits to the Golf Ground, Don Bosco Museum, Lady Hydari Park, Cathedral of Marry Laitlum, and enjoy boating at Ward Lake. Evening leisure allows for independent activities, including shopping at Police Bazaar. Overnight stay in the captivating city of Shillong.

    Day 2 : Shillong - Mawlynnong – Dawki Excursion - Shillong

    After a delightful breakfast, embark on a day excursion to Dawki at the Indo-Bangladesh Border. Witness the beauty of the Umngot River and the iconic Dawki Bridge, offering panoramic views. Opt for a boat ride on the crystal-clear river (direct payment), and enjoy snacks from vendors in Bangladesh. Later, drive to the charming Mawlynnong Village, enhancing your day with its unique allure.

    Mawlynnong, Asia's Cleanest Village, embodies a unique ritual where cleanliness is embraced by every resident, making it India's cleanest village since 2005. Renowned for its pristine landscape, Mawlynnong was declared the cleanest village in Asia in 2003. A regional legend, it stands out for its remarkable tidiness, a rare feat in a country known for its varied topography of discarded waste.

    Explore the Living Root Bridge, a captivating tree bridge, ensuring sturdy footwear for the stair-climbing experience. Conclude the day with an evening drive to Shillong, savoring the enchantment of Meghalaya. Overnight stay at a Shillong hotel awaits.

    Day 3 : Shillong-Cherapunjee Excursion

    Explore the unique Elephant Falls, a two-tier waterfall surrounded by lush greenery—a perfect picnic spot. Locally known as 'Three Steps Water Falls,' it comprises three smaller falls with a combined stream flowing over fern-covered rocks.Enroute, visit Mawkdok Valley, 30 km from Shillong, offering a splendid vantage point on the Shillong-Cherrapunji road. Adventure enthusiasts can partake in zip-lining for a panoramic view (on direct payment). Explore attractions like the Garden of Caves, Dentheline Waterfalls, Nohkalikai Waterfalls, and the iconic Shiva Rock. Return to the hotel in the evening for an overnight stay in Shillong.

    Day 4 : Shillong -Kaziranga

    After a sumptuous breakfast, drive to Kaziranga, where you'll check in at the hotel. This wildlife haven, covering 430 square kilometers, is celebrated for hosting over 2200 Indian one-horned rhinoceros, a significant portion of the global population. Renowned for its conservation efforts, Kaziranga's initiatives have successfully boosted the population of the endangered Greater one-horned rhinoceros. Enjoy an overnight stay at your Kaziranga hotel.

    Day 5 : Kaziranga

    Start your day with a shared Elephant ride at Kaziranga National Park at 4:30 AM. After the safari, enjoy breakfast at the hotel. At 10:00 AM, visit The Kaziranga National Orchid and Biodiversity Park, the largest orchid park in Northeast India. Explore 500+ varieties of wild orchids and other plants. After lunch at 1:00 PM, experience a Jeep Safari at Kaziranga National Park. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Kaziranga.

    Day 6 : Kaziranga – Guwahati (approx. 240 kms/ 5 -6 hrs drive)

    Post breakfast, proceed to Guwahati. If time allows, check in to the hotel and head to the Navagrah Temple. Umananda Devaloi, a Shiva temple located on Peacock Island in the Brahmaputra River, offers a unique experience (ferry tickets at guest's expense). Enjoy a ride on the longest river ropeway over the Brahmaputra, providing a panoramic view of Guwahati, the river, and surrounding hills. It offers a fascinating aerial perspective and a chance to capture unique shots. Witness Umananda Island, a small river island with a temple. In the evening, explore local markets at Pan Bazaar and Fancy Bazaar for shopping. Overnight stay in Guwahati.

    Day 7 : Departure from Guwahati

    After breakfast, explore Maa Kamakhya or Kameswari( IF NOT VISITED ON DAY 1 ), the renowned Goddess of Desire, located on Nilachala Hill in Guwahati. This sacred shrine is one of the oldest among the 51 Shakti Pithas in Hinduism. Note that the shrine closes during Ambubachi Mela, the significant religious congregation observed during the monsoon season. It concludes around the 21st or 22nd of June. Later, you'll be transferred to Guwahati Airport/Railway station for your onward journey, carrying the energy and memories of a trip that contributed to local communities and offered a breath of healthy air.
